All About Girls Lacrosse »
Complete information about the game including origin, positions, equipment, rules, fouls, terms and field set-up illustration.

What do you need for the first day of practice?

  • Girls cross, also known as a stick. The pocket is not as deep as it is in boys. We will go over how to cut and shorten the shaft, on the first day of practice.
  • Mouth guard - molded (Follow the directions, but be sure to have a parent do it for you)
  • Sneakers/cleats. If they are going to be new, then break them in ahead of time.
  • White sports socks
  • Jersey. If you have something with your name on it, or a brother's jersey, please wear it, so we can get to know you.
  • Goggles
  • Pull hair back out of your face with a pony tail, etc.
  • You should have sweat pants, t-shirt and a sweat shirt - no jeans, etc.
  • No jewelry
  • And bring a filled water bottle

We look forward to working with you and teaching you the fastest game on two feet!
